When it is an avis car, paperwork at the desk takes a while as they need to do it on paper!!! They fill in all the info by hand

For £1 can’t go wrong!

The pick-up was average. No one inspected the car with us or explained that it was diesel etc. Had to wait a long time in queue (approx 40 mins). Car itself was great and drop off was very easy.

Pick-up was very friendly but very very very slow. Did not know how the system functioned and could not find the car. But friendly.

Great experience all round. The 4* (instead of 5*) for pick-up is because it was difficult to find the office and better directions might be helpful for finding the HERTZ office at Manchester Airport. Apart from this tiny hiccup, it was awesome - super car, great service - would highly recommend.
